art’otel

Where art meets wayfinding to elevate the guest experience

Crafting a distinctive wayfinding experience at art'otel Battersea Power Station, our team blended artistic inspiration with practicality.

As part of our extensive work in and around Battersea Power Station, we were briefed to develop the wayfinding for the new art’otel. Drawing from art deco references, we integrated our classic and refined design seamlessly into the hotel's interior, achieving both aesthetic finesse and functional clarity.

With the hotel art at the forefront, we designed an elegant minimalist scheme made from fret cut brass letters set in Futura, tying in with our work across the Battersea Masterplan. Our design creates inviting spaces for leisure, elevating the overall guest experience. Beyond the front of house areas, the design is distilled down to simple black panels, creating practical and serviceable areas for staff.
