Manchester Art Gallery

As part of an overall design remit that included new wayfinding, sign and information design, we also created a new identity for the gallery using bold typography, tonal colours, strong photography and a new tone of voice. 

A new extension to the building had created orientation problems for visitors. Our new wayfinding and sign scheme changed the flow of visitors through the Gallery while effectively coordinating the old listed building with the new extension.

Gold winner at the 2007 Design Effectiveness Awards.
