Holmes Wood wins Gold at the Design Effectiveness Awards

Our work for Manchester Art Gallery has won the Gold award in the Museums, Galleries and Visitor Attraction section of the annual Design Effectiveness Awards, run by the Design Business Association.

We were asked to come up with a redefinition of the Gallery’s identity, signage and wayfinding, as well as to rethink some of the physical spaces within the building. The judges praised the project for ‘results that stack up’, describing it as ‘contemporary and excellent’.
